The Scuderia Scampi Rosso concludes the first round with the #RC10B74 in 4WD as well with spots P7 and P10. Fabian Widmer started the A-mains with a 5th place demonstrating a fast race pace. In the remaining two A-mains a couple of small mistakes costed him some points finishing with a great 7th place in his first race with the B74.

Stefan Sidler also lost a place in the finals which put him in 10th place. But his victory in the truck category will surely comfort him over it... Well done guys! 💪🦐

In the A-Main in Freienbach we saw some tight competion among the 10 Top drivers in Switzerland. With three solid races Fabian Widmer secured with his #RC10B6.1 7th place overall while Arnaud Buffat became crash-victim on several occasions, forcing him to end up 10th with his #RC10B6.2.

Their combo consiting of #reedypowered ESC and 6.5T motor together with the stable voltage of the brand new #RUDDOG RP-0169 LiPo packs (4100 mAH LP shorty) delivered always sufficient power in each situation.

Now we are in the middle of qualification in 4WD, whereas Widmer uses al careful prepared #RC10B74.

Today 10 years ago Brawn GP won the Formula 1 constructors and the drivers championship... Why does this reminds us of something that happened this year....

Thanks to a P2 of Davide Ongaro and P12 of Patrick Hofer the "Scuderia Associated" defended its 47 pts lead over the next competitor all the way in for today's Rd8 under the lead of interims Team Manager Richard Saxton, who undisputedly won Saturday's 40+ final. This 47 pts lead is now also mathematically no longer catchable by the other competitors. We would like to thank all participants who have contributed to this success... Long live the Scuderia!

Who would have ever thought that Team Associated drivers Davide Ongaro, along with Patrick Hofer, would win the driver's RCGP Championship 2019 early for Scuderia Scampi Rosso? Four years ago in Asti the idea to found the R/C racing team Scuderia Scampi Rosso was born. That's why we're twice as happy to announce this success in this historic place. This success was only possible because many people and organizations in and outside the R/C scene believed in this project. Our special thanks go to the family Ongaro and Riccardo Verardo as well as to the family Hofer, whose will and know-how contributed decisively to this success. Our thanks also go to Team Associated and to Mr. X, who made this team constellation even possible for the 2019 season. But our focus remains on the last two races in Thunder Alley/USA in October, before we even think about celebrating.

Am vergangenen Wochenende veranstaltete der MRC Langenthal den dritten Lauf zur Schweizer Meisterschaft E10 TC. Fabian Widmer, unterstützt von RUDDOG und Team Associated, konnte mit seinem Reedy-angetriebenen TC7.2  den ersten Podestplatz in dieser Saison erringen. Die heissen Temperaturen machten es allen Teilnehmern nicht leicht, trotzdem errang Fabian am Ende des Tages den verdienten dritten Platz auf dem Podest. Mit Sebastien Leuenberger auf P9 war ein weiterer Team Associated Fahrer im A-Finale.

Man beachte Fabians sauber konzipierte Modifikation (inspiriert von Patrick Hofer) seines TC7.2 für den Einsatz mit Shorty Akkus..... Dies ist der Geist auf den die Scuderia Scampi Rosso baut!

Races 3&4 with great results are history and RCGP has a two month break until the races of Rd 5&6 in Asti/ITA. But for both Team Associated drivers Davide Ongaro and Patrick Hofer, there isn't really a break...they both face a tight schedule with races whereas the performance of the RC8B3.1 will face some tough competition...be it at the national championship, the Bittydesign Eurocontest X and of course the Euros 2019 in Sacile/ITA.

Le gare 3&4 con grandi risultati sono storia e RCGP ha due mesi di pausa fino alle gare di Rd 5&6 ad Asti/ITA. Ma per entrambi i piloti del Team Associated Davide Ongaro e Patrick Hofer non c'è davvero una pausa....entrambi affrontano un fitto calendario di gare, mentre le prestazioni della RC8B3.1 affronteranno una dura concorrenza...sia nel campionato nazionale, che nel Bittydesign Eurocontest X e naturalmente gli Euro 2019 a Sacile/ITA.
Forza Team Associated! "May the force be with you..."

Für diese Saison hat die Scuderia das Betätigungsfeld erweitert und konnte mit Fabian Widmer einen Fahrer gewinnen, der den Team Associated TC7.2 an den Rennen zur SRCCA-Schweizermeisterschaft einsetzt. Unterstützt wird er dabei durch Patrick Hofer, der ebenfalls in der Kategorie Modified mitfährt soweit dies das übrige Rennprogramm erlaubt.
Nun sind die ersten zwei Läufe absolviert und Hofer sowie Widmer belegen in der Gesamtrangliste ex aequo Rang drei in der Meisterschaft. Die Streckenverhältnisse der beiden Rennen in Chiasso und Dintikon kamen dem TC7.2 nicht optimal entgegen. Trotzdem konnten die Zeitabstände Schrit für Schritt zur Spitze reduziert werden, was für die ausstehenden drei Rennen durchaus Mut macht.
Die Scuderia setzt alles daran den gewählten Weg weiter zu gehen um das Potential des TC7.2 weiter auszuschöpfen und auszureizen.

Races 1&2 have both been won by Davide Ongaro. Patrick Hofer took P11 and P9. The Scuderia travels to the european races as Championship leaders for team and drivers. What a great team effort to start with. Now we have a month to  get our Team Associated RC8B3.1 prepared for the big track in Fehring/AUT.

Le gare 1&2 sono state entrambe vinte da Davide Ongaro. Patrick Hofer ha preso la P11 e la P9. La Scuderia si reca alle gare europee come leader del campionato per team e piloti. Che grande sforzo di squadra per cominciare. Ora abbiamo un mese per preparare il nostro Team Associated RC8B3.1 per il grande circuito di Fehring/AUT.

During the Season-opener at the Ongaro-Ring in Sacile, the hometurf of #DO94, we discussed a few things also concerning the design of the car's bodyshells. Davide had a great idea that resulted in a very cool design.
